At Alexandra Sports the 361 Nemesis is proving to be a very popular running shoe already! It has been created to provide a good level of stability over all distances. The stability is provided by pairing an extended medial post and the lightweight QU!K Spine shank.
The medial post is formed with denser foam that is positioned under the arch of the foot. By being firmer it compresses less under load and this really helps to reduce the pronatory forces of the foot rolling inwards.
QU!K Spine is a lightweight and dynamically engineered mid-foot TPU shank that helps improve the torsional stability of the shoe and provides more support through the stance phase of your running gait. Toe off is enhanced by QU!K Flex 4Foot Engineering. This provides a natural and balanced ground contact and promotes better acceleration.
All round the 361 Nemesis provides a stable and secure feeling ride that guides the foot through a better path and may help to prevent and overcome running injuries such as plantar fasciitis and ‘shin splints’.

Cushioning is provided by 361’s QU!KFOAM. This is a blend of EVA and rubber that is coated with PU and runs through the full length of the 361 Nemesis. It offers a high level of energy return that is longer lasting.
We have found that the cushioning feels a little firmer than some other running brands but is smooth and comfortable. The tacky blown rubber forefoot and abrasion-resistant crashpad provide a mix of traction, shock dispersion, and durability.
The moderate stability provided really helps reduce overpronation and is comparable to shoes like the Brooks Adrenaline GTS and Mizuno Inspire.
The Nemesis from 361 Degrees has a very comfortable and well-rounded fit. The engineered mesh gives an open toe box design that is breathable and is not restrictive on those longer runs when some people may experience swelling of the feet.
The overlays through the midfoot give a secure fixing and supportive feel, whilst the tongue is designed in an anatomical pattern using soft materials to remove pressure and stress to the top of the foot. We have found this model from 361 probably fits the widest range of foot shapes as it is not too slim and is available in a wide fitting version too.
Whether you are completing the Couch to 5K or a Park Run or even a Marathon we think this shoe will perform well for runners of all abilities, so be sure to check them out for a test run!
