The ever growing RNLI 10K fun run, now in its 6th year, will be held on Sunday 6th October at 10am and will take you along Southsea seafront. Starting from the lifeboat station the route heads out towards the esplanade and then straight to Old Portsmouth and back again. This is a fast flat route, if the wind blows in the right direction or not at all, and is an ideal training run for those who are in preparation for the Great South Run.
Adult entry is £13 and under 16’s is £10. All times are recorded by chip timing thanks to Race Timing Solutions and everyone will get a fabulous medal at the finish. Also there will be spot prizes given out along with Winners Trophies and +40 vets Trophies.
All money raised from the fun run, set up by Believe and Achieve Personal Training Consultancy, goes towards the RNLI, they will be on hand to support throughout the run guiding where to go and offering refreshments. With great views and the lifeboat station open it’s a great family day out!
